Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility / selection criteria for the above mentioned vacant positions is as under;

• Assistant Librarian: Masters’ Degree in Library and Information Sciences or equivalent with 5 years experience.
• Information Officer: Masters’ Degree in Journalism / Mass Communication / Political Sciences / History / Urdu Literature / English Literature from HEC recognized University with two years experience in Journalism.
• Progress Officer: Masters’ degree in Statistics or Economics or Mathematics from HEC recognized University.
• Sub Engineer (Civil) :
  • (i)Secondary School Certificate (SSC) from a recognized board
  • ii) Three Years Diploma in Civil Engineering recognized by Board of Technical Education.
• Sub Engineer Electrical:
  • (i)Secondary School Certificate (SSC) from a recognized board
  • ii) Three Years Diploma in Civil Engineering recognized by Board of Technical Education.

How to Apply

The interested and eligible candidates can fill the application form available on the UHS website i.e. http://www.uhs.edu.pk.

The candidate can pay the prescribed fee through bank challan at National Bankof Pakistan, Sheikh Ziad Hospital Branch Lahore (A/C number= 3164498127) or deposit the same amount in University’s online account PK53NBPA1707003164498127 under Account Title “CE UHS”.

The applicant shall write the number of his/her bank challan / online transction on his /her application form. The detail of amount is as below:

• Bs 01 to BS 04 = Rs.100/-
• BS 05 to BS 16 = Rs. 500/-
• BS 17 & above = Rs. 2000/-

Filled form, along with the attested copies of certificates, testimonials, CNIC and Passport size coloured photographs, origional bank challan/ DD/PO of paid processing feemust reach the office of Human Resource Department, Room # 42, University of Health Sciences, Khayab -e- Jamia Punjab, Lahore by post on or before 23.11.2023. The date of interview will be communicated to the eligible/ shortlisted candidates.
