PEC SBA 2nd Term Syllabus and Exam Schedule 2023-2024

Punjab Examination Commission PEC has announced syllabus details of School Based Assessment SBA 2nd Term paper. PEC will generate papers before the schedule. PEC SBA Date sheet will be shared on hiringspak when it available on PEC Official website.

Meanwhile PEC has announced syllabus for Grade 1 to 8 classes. Students and teachers can go through this syllabus and prepare for SBA 2nd Term Exams. The official website to generate SBA Papers is https://www.pecassessment.com/school.

PEC Exams are for only Grade 1 to Grade 8. Before PEC SBA there were only 5th and 8th class exams but now PEC is taking all papers on SBA. All Schools Print their own generated paper from PEC Item Bank official website and then distribute among students.

The date sheet for 2nd term will be issued by the Head Teacher of the school. All the question papers except English and Urdu will be provided bilingually and schools are given provision to generate other subject papers either in English/Urdu or bilingually.

Every school will generate question papers by logging into the Item Bank System (IBS) with QR code showing complete information of the school with EMIS code (which can be scanned through any QR Code Scanning App).

The system-generated paper for each subject will be of one page with OR code. Marking will be done as per standardized keys and rubrics generated with the papers in IBS. The CEO-DEAs are requested to take necessary measures to ensure that schools utilize IBS with their own login. This will also be checked during the conduct of they 2nd Term by monitoring teams.

Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) arranged CEOs conference on 19th September 23, where Worthy Madam Special Secreteray Education (SED) joined as Chief Guest. CEO-PEC, Tariq Iqbal warmly welcomed all the participants and commenced with orientation on First Term School Based Assessment 2023.

The house was briefed about the provision of standardized item bank, one click user-friendly paper generation, smart print of paper(single page paper), availibity of standarized rubrics for marking and online monitoringat district level by the District Education Authority (DEAs).

It is pertinent to mention that more than 90, 000 teachers had been trained on standarized marking parameters to improve students weak learning areas prior to First Term Assessment.


Worthy Madam Special Secretary appreciated PEC assessment regime of First Term under Assessment Policy Framework (APF-2019) which focuses on improved education quality and advised District Education Authority (DEAs) to ensure the timely compliance of the activity.
