Punjab Winter Vacations 2023 in Schools and Colleges
Punjab winter vacations 2023 are going to start from December 3rd week and will end in January 2024. There are some news that may be Punjab Govt and School Education Department SED announce early winter vacations due to fog and smog in Punjab.
In the latest development and meeting of CM Punjab it is decided that Winter Vacations in all Punjab schools will start from 18th December 2023 and end on January 1st 2024. CM Punjab Mohsin Naqvi tweets about this announcement of winter vacations on 30 November 2023.
He Says that “We held a meeting with experts and govt officials today addressing the SMOG challenge in Punjab. With an improved Air Quality Index (AQI), no restrictions are planned for the upcoming weekend. Additionally, winter vacations for children will commence from Dec 18 , 2023 to Jan 1, 2024.”

As we know that Lahore High Court LHC has already announces holidays on Friday and Saturday in specific district of Punjab. Therefore may be SED start winter vacations early in December.
Usually winter vacations in Punjab schools and colleges start from 24th December and end on 1st January. But due to weather conditions these dates can be changed by Govt of Punjab.
Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has already adopted school holidays plan to tackle the different situations. Public is expecting same smart strategy from CM Punjab so that students can be safe from cold and bad weather.
