PTA Sim Disowning Charge of 200 Rupees from 1st January 2024
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority PTA has made an important announcement about Sim Disowning Charge of 200 Rupees effective from 1st January 2024.

PTA told on their Official Facebook page that “Effective from January 1, 2024, Cellular Mobile Operators may levy a “#SIMDisowningCharge” up to Rs. 200 on SIMs having a retention period of less than six months. Furthermore, all consumers are advised to disown or return unnecessary SIMs, free of charge, latest by December 31, 2023. By doing so, consumers can avoid SIM disowning charge and contribute towards responsible usage of SIMs.
